Ideal Candidate qualities:

-Looking for someone who has a good IT background but also knowledge in financial or treasury systems software (business side). Essentially someone to bridge the gap between business and IT. “Think IT but can solve business problems”

-Someone who will be working alongside the treasury analyst, understanding how things are actually done in the current environment and propose solutions for automations, graph up those requirements and hand over to IT to implement and guide them to do the work and test it.

-SQL/Oracle queries experience needed

-Treasury/finance/banking investment systems experience a must

-WorkDay experience preferred

-SAS experience is NOT important

JOB DUTIES

    • Understands and applies principles, theories and concepts related to the profession and COMPANY's culture.

    • May respond to inquiries and/or provide assistance and/or guidance to lower-level workers.

ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES

  • Defines data requirements and maintains comprehensive understanding of the aggregate systems environment to identify critical interfaces and implementation strategies
  • Provides key recommendations and understanding about the necessary treasury system upgrades and conversion efforts
  • Demonstrates skills as an expert user of client server treasury systems, spreadsheet programs, and database programs
  • Develops and manages SAS programs and internal reports using Base SAS, SAS Macros and SAS SQL Fosters and maintains relationship with information technology staff
  • Uses understanding of IT systems to design and maintain database structures
  • Reports and resolves data issues and inconsistencies to the processing and outputs to maintain normal systems operations used by internal and external stakeholders
  • Leads model testing efforts and designs key test scripts
  • Develops knowledge and expertise of COMPANY Protocols, data integration, business processes, and computation methodologies
  • Prepares reports defining and evaluating problems and recommending solutions
  • Identifies and recommends improvements to information technology procedures and software to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness
  • Communicates issues and resolution status to colleagues and upper management
  • Maintains knowledge of emerging trends and industry best practices
  • Develops SQL queries/reports as needed
  • Provides additional support and maintenance of ERP, bank and investment systems
  • Understands technical problems and solutions in relation to the current, as well as the future technical environment
  • Assists in the most difficult support problems

EXPERIENCE

    • Requires minimum 5 years related work experience in Treasury or Financial systems in excess of degree requirements

EDUCATION

    • Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related field (Required)or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required
